First Aid is an important skill that is often required when SCUBA diving and in life. In Australia, we have high standards of health and safety regulations that must be adhered to. CPR and First Aid training is important for those in any sport. It increases a person’s confidence and ability to respond in a medical emergency. This course is a cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR), emergency oxygen (O2) administration course combined into one program. It is designed to teach individuals the proper techniques to safely administer CPR, O2, correct first aid, and utilize an AED in emergency situations.
During the CPROX1st AED, you will learn crucial knowledge and skills that may just save someone’s life. While you hope you never have to use these skills, they are invaluable to anyone who dives in the case of a diving emergency.
Theory: You will be required to complete 1 hour of theory prior to the course, depending on how fast you learn.
Evening: 6:30pm – 9:30pm
This is a non-diving course. You will have one evening of theory and practical session in the classroom at Dive Spear and Sport.
The cost for this course is $150
Includes all material costs, certification, equipment and instructor.
